I got into First World War research through tracing my great-grandad, who was in 1/5th Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment. • simplify and document category hierarchies (mostly done)
• more definition pages for types and specific types
• British infantry regiment pages:
  • check for missing or duplicate battalions
  • move medal rolls to h4 under other official sources
  • set default sort
• British and Indian division pages:
  • WO 95 sub-series for non-WF theatres
  • WO 157 if any
  • change "Divisional Train" to "Divisional Supply and Transport"
  • get rid of 'Infantry divisions' category
• add more tasks to How you can help:

  • division-corps relationships

  • IWM Lives communities
  • yeomanry regiments converted to infantry or machine gun battalions
• start a help page on how to access structured data.
