[https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/lifestory/4392794 Traviss Frederick Teversham] was a teacher from Sawston, Cambridgeshire. He wrote an account of the village and his experiences in the First World War:

The introduction says that the Reminiscence was probably written in 1942. Internal evidence and background information on the Journeys Intertwined website give this service history:

* applied to join '''Inns of Court Officer Training Corps''' in 1915 but rejected after interview
* joined [[26th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers, British Army]] in 1915, served with them in France for 3 months in 1916 and sent home wounded
* transferred to [[11th Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment, British Army]] (service number 45829) in 1916 and invalided out in 1918

The Reminiscence also gives brief notes on some others from Sawston who were killed in the First World War.
